you will NEED a good quality coax at this frequency to benifit from the improved performance ....

ie lm400 rg213 min better still move the transmitter as close to the antenna as possible and use a long cat 5/ internet cable this way coax losses are kept to a minimum and lowers costs and you can use the mini coaxes or pigtails . an external water proof enclosure for your hotspot may be the best way to go.
